Mistral 2005 Double Hose Regulator ( NEW )

In 2005 Aqua Lung introduced the Mistral Double Hose Regulator .

Aqua Lung released two versions of this Mistral Double Hose Regulator; the first was a limited edition "boxed" version, and the second was the Sport Edition sold to general public.

The Current Mistral is based on the 1968 limited edition with a bit of a modern twist. Today the Aqua Lung company has partnered with Drager, yes a strange bedfellow but Aqua Lung was distributing a small part of the very large Drager safety division product line. One of these products was the Semi Closed Circuit Rebreather Atlantis/Dolphin & Ray. Some of the parts used to design the Mistral Double Hose Regulator are in fact designs made for Drager such as the Hoses, Mouthpieces, etc... And part of the Mistral is the very popular Titan 1st stage regulator.

This unit for sale is the first of two versions of the Mistral released to the community. The first is the Sport Diver Mistral #125900 which was packed in the same padded zipper carry case and it was not limited to any quantity. It was designed for divers to enjoy the vintage experience of a double hose with a new modern design twist. There are many of these available on the market at reasonable prices. The second is the Mistral LE #125960 See other sale. The LE Mistral was released in a "Limited" Edition 500 units ( bigger world today than '68), in a special velvet lined wooden collectors box complete with signed certificate.
