Short and concise reason to choose this version of the Poseidon CCR family of rebreathers

• Why pay $11499 for a Tec Pos CCR that has $$$ Things you DONT want and is missing key items like a BCD/Wing/Harness?
• You do NOT want or need an expensive "Cheese Tray" or what they call a back cover as its serves NO value!
• You do NOT want or need the Big Stupid Shovel Handle - the config with back cover and handle make removing the eMod almost impossible as you are unable to get your fingers into the space needed to un-screw the cap. We have the best Low Profile Lift Handle included in your purchase, that is easy to use and allows clear access to your eMod
• The inversion kit is not required, it just brings the valves down to your hip / butt area for easier reach, and this inversion kit is also an upgrade from basic inversion as it allows you to remove your regulators from the canister body. No more carrying your scrubber can with regulators banging and clanging against the sides. The Deluxe Inversion includes HP QD's allow quick easy removal, as well as swivels and adaptors to make your hose routing clean and easy
• The nylon cam band straps from Pos HQ are too long, and they allow the tanks to wobble and slide. Choose the SS Screw Clamp and get rock solid unit that doesn't wobble on your back
• Get onboard with the concept of the SS Sensor and if you wish to only start with 1, then you can change the analog sensor every year, but at least one of your sensors will always be rock solid!
• BMCL or Chest Mount CL are upgrade from the silly arse "Rebreather BCD" so just pick front or back
• The Tek unit is priced $11499 and does NOT include a wing, so we said SHITE! And we built a better package. The Poseidon Wing / Harness / Backplate are top shelf and expensive yes, but they are a perfect fit!!! No messing around with a diver who already has a twin 600 lb lift wing that is too big, bulky....
• M28 - the day of "Wack A Mole" with the paddle have passed, just move on and do it right with the M28 computer
• Black Battery - well here is one and only one time that I will say that color matters! The black battery is an option that allows you to grow with your CCR and if you choose to use mixed gasses, or decompress then no buying more colors. Once you go black....

More to consider not in this package

• There is ONLY one more add on, the MAV. Wow, I can hardly say this with a straight face as there really is no end.... But the Manual Add Valve is a three button MAV kit with all hoses necessary to add gasses in your loop when you want to control the Po2 such as technical diving.
• If you are local diving and doing some Ocean / Great Lakes shipwrecks then you will wish to purchase a second and or third set of cylinders. The reason is that getting the fills is a PIA and in remote areas such as wrecks in Great Lakes its a GIANT PIA to get fills. So I typically go on 3-7 day wreck trips and with 2-3 sets of cylinders that I filled at home, at my leisure then I have a week of diving by changing cylinders every 2 - 3 days.
• I don't know where I stand on stands... bada-boop! thank you thank you, I'll be here all week, try the veal.... but seriously, I don't ever use a stand and I'm a short fat bastard that is able to squat down on any boat bench and slip into my ccr. Yet I do have a lot of divers who use a stand and like it??? WTF do I care????? get a stand, don't get a stand, it doesn't matter much.
